What's affected? BSD services as seen from the Hospital network
Who's affected? All users using machines on the Hospital network
When will it be available? May 23, 2006, 18:00

The problem was caused by a faulty route to 165.68.0.0 (hospital network). The best route to 165.68.0.0 on one of the NSIT border routers was over Internet 2. Any traffic that passed through that router destined for 165.68.0.0 would try to go out to Internet2 and then to the hospital network. NSIT has changed the router to not accept routes to 165.68.0.0 from Internet2. As of 6pm on May 23rd traffic from subnet 128.135.75.0/24 to 165.68.0.0/16 appears to route properly.
